The terminal is designed for reception of cruise and linear passenger ships of up to 300 m length.
The terminal includes: approach canal, terminal water area (maneuver area and quays operating waters), quayside consisting of 7 quays, land reclamation, shore protection, navigation aids, complex of coastal buildings and facilities for passengers and transport stream servicing, including the Border Inspection Post of the Russian Federation.
The quay construction and dredging started in 2006.
GT Morstroy performed works for the construction of front and anchor walls of quays Nos.2, 3, 4, 5 with total length of 944 m, installation of whalers and anchor rods, driving of metal piles (diam 820 and 1,020 mm), and top structure (unloading platform) concreting.
The front sheet pile wall is made of metal sheet piles AZ 50 and AZ 36-700, length from 23.6 to 31.1 m.
The anchor wall is made from sheet piles AZ 17-700 and PU-12, length from 5.5 to 25.1 m.
At the quays one or two rows of metal pipe piles with a closed lower end are driven to support the unloading platform.
